Crystal Crazies

I thought I’d share a couple of new crystals I came across recently (never let construction shenanigans from the development next door which has been plaguing us divert you from the crystal crazies). The first is a magical quartz from the Messina area in South Africa. The original Messina mine has been exhausted – this used to be a wonderful source of quartz with ajoite and bright blue papagoite.

The quartz which landed in my lap recently is from another mine and has a combination of red piedmontite and yellow-green epidote over one surface. It has a main termination with a phantom inclusion and also a small face with multiple terminations.

Along with this my supplier friend included a freebie – a small crystal wand with brookite on the surface and rutile inclusion, this is from Pakistan. On this question of size, I’m not bothered how big or small a crystal is – it only matters to me how I interact with the energy and this small quartz wand is awesome, resonates very intensely with my own energy to remind me that small is just as powerful as big. So go beyond surface appearances and look into a crystal to see how it works with you.

Below are photos of another Messina quartz I purchased recently – it’s very unusual in that the main face has multiple terminations and at the other end is a small cross quartz also with multiple terminations.
