I found the original image of bison on the move in Pixabay (where you can pick up free images) and it reminded me of the bison as part of our earth heritage and appearing at Standing Rock as the Water Protectors were standing up for clean waters. So it’s not just about honouring the earth, but also those who are standing up to protect the waters around the earth wherever action is needed.
I picked up a packet of sea shells in our local do-it-yourself shop (called here in North Cyprus a Yapi Market). I found three beautiful shells, took a pic of them then fiddled with on Toolwiz. This is the result – it reminds me of the songlines of the earth and how we can align with them to harmonise with Planet Earth.
I created this image from a photo of Lake Eyre, in central Australia, in drought.
I used my Toowiz app, fiddled with a few features, and this image emerged. It reminded me not only of the wonderful land, elemental energies and rocks of Australia, but also of the water which runs through to Lake Eyre when heavy rains occur further north.
This is an image inspired by a really beautiful waterfall. PicMonkey has a new gizmo in its “Effects” section called “Mirror” which I’ve found fascinating when working with elemental energies. It’s as if you can pull apart the surface image to find below the elemental waiting to be revealed.
In this image, you can see the face of the Lord of the Realms of the Waters which is what this Elemental demanded to be called. I went for Lord of the Waters first off, but no – his full title is “Lord of the Realms of the Waters”. The moon is included as well as clouds at the base as these are related to the waters of Planet Earth.
Call me as nutty as a fruitcake if you like, but one thing I’ve learned in my many years of metaphysical learning and Tarot reading, it’s to heed what I hear and reproduce it without allowing my intellect to interfere.
This image was created from a photo of waterfalls in Croatia. There is a specific symbolism here from the water spirits of these waterfalls: the butterfly at the front represents the transformation affecting Mother Earth and sentient beings at a global level. The blurred image around the edge represents the uncertainty of change and the unpredictable nature of these times. the Moon represents the inner emotional changes affecting Planet Earth and the waters represent the healing effects of this transformation.
I got the feeling of a great deal of love, warmth, support and understanding being extended to all sentient beings but particularly to those human beings who are choosing to repair, nurture and care for our wonderful planet.
I’m always rather intrigued by the road which opens up for me when I’m working on photos to create digital art.
On this occasion I felt inspired by another photograph taken by David of SmileCalm. As soon as I saw the photo I could see the smiling energy of the water sprite living in the waterfall but I didn’t expect it to turn out the way it did.
I had an idea of water energy so started off with images of bubbles, but when I added an overlay of the North Californian Falls No. 2, suddenly it took off into multi-coloured images which inspired so much joy.
So I added the feather with birds flying out of the top to aid the flight of joy, the flower in the bottom left-hand corner for the blossoming of joy, and the butterfly in the top left-hand corner for the transformation and lightness of spirit which joy brings.
And so I wish you all a joyous season, much happiness and many, many blessings – however and wherever they eventuate – for your lives in 2016.
Take care, my friends, and remember that good people, sparkles, glitter and faeries are everywhere!
