I had an amazing dream the night before last  – as if I was looking down on the Earth and unravelling everything going on to come to the profound knowing that all is connected, all is in a cosmic pattern and all makes sense when you can stand back and see the world as a kaleidoscope which falls into patterns and shapes all slotting neatly into a giant cosmic pattern.

I actually forgot the dream when I woke up but suddenly I remembered it today – shifting through many layers, seeing everything meshing together and understanding that there is a huge, powerful, loving energy at work and everything is in the right place, at the right time.

Terra d’Amour

Terra D'Amour

I’ve been playing around with a photo I found on the internet of the earth surrounded by clouds.

I fiddled with the Mirror gizmo, found under the “Effects” section of PicMonkey, then worked on that image with gizmos on Photoshop where you can move colours around. I quite like this final image – of the earth heart-shaped, a smile at the bottom and the two black and white flares either side resembling dolphins/orcas as the representatives of the earth’s oceans.

Then I moved on to the “Sweethearts” section under “Themes” and changed the colours to rose, the colours of luuurve!

Very simple and great fun!!!

I created this from a photo I have of an ancient tree merged with an image of stars. It reflects the tree stretching its branches into the sky, communing with the stars and acting as a transformer to bring their energy and song to earth.

In creating this I was reminded of a workshop I went to at Mt Barney in the Scenic Rim of southern Queensland to learn how to see auras.  I never actually got to see a human aura but I did have the awesome opportunity to sit among the majestic trees on the farm where the workshop was held, see the auras of trees and then see the huge energy projections into the sky. Absolutely awesome!

Sanctuary Within

I created this from an amphibole quartz in my collection, it’s got the most beautiful inclusions.  It reminds me of the beauty within each of us – quite unique to each person’s soul and spirit – which needs to be honoured as a treasure gifted to us when we are born.

Blessing for the Senses
May your body be blessed.
May you realize that your body is a faithful
and beautiful friend of your soul.
And may you be peaceful and joyful
and recognize that your senses
are sacred thresholds.
May you realize that holiness is
mindful, gazing, feeling, hearing, and touching.
May your senses gather you and bring you home.
May your senses always enable you to
celebrate the universe and the mystery
and possibilities in your presence here.
May the Eros of the Earth bless you.

I worked on a photo of a crystal I bought recently, a Dream Dome – it’s quartz with wonderful inclusions and even though it’s small, it’s a very powerful stone.

I came across it when I re-connected with a friend in the US who sells crystals and with whom I’d lost contact when I moved to North Cyprus. Her name and business address popped up suddenly and I’m so pleased to be back in touch again. That’s why I’ve called this digital art “Synchronicity” because of our first accidental contact and now our renewed contact.

And here’s a pic of the Dream Dome crystal:

Spider & Rose

No, this is not some movie or song or whatever: I was taking photos of the Apothecary’s Rose in the front garden, which is the rose of the title of this post. The rose fascinates me as it’s such an ancient heritage rose from the Turkish region with a huge centre.

So I poked open the petals to have a look at the centre and out shot a pure white spider, absolutely pure white. Don’t know who was most surprised – me or the white spider. Anyway, while said spider was motionless I took a quick snap of him or her. I reckon this little web-spinner is going to be quite lucky for me!
