The Living Years: Say It Now

Love of the People

When my husband worked on high-rise construction, I always made a point of never going to sleep on an argument, giving him a hug every day, and telling him how much I loved him. Just in case something happened to him as the construction industry is  high risk, and high-rise construction even more!

As it happened, he saw other blokes die or get injured, but he came through relatively unscathed himself and is now heading towards his 80th year, looking more like 65!

Even today we tell each other how much we love each other, not being morbid but just because you never know when you’re time’s up.

So this is just a reminder – if you’ve got someone in your life who you love, tell them. Give ’em a huge hug.

Don’t wait!
