YEAY – my 1000th post!

Good stuff!I thought I’d save my post about “Rebellion” for my 1000th post, in celebration of this milestone for me. I started blogging way back in 2008 or 2009, can’t remember exactly when, but I was living in Bowraville, in the hinterland behind the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Australia.

I was very nervous about the whole blogging scenario and initially started with Blogger. But then I came across WordPress, decided it had a wider participation and audience and switched over to WP. Never looked back.

My original blog was composed mainly of rants about political and other issues. But gradually I started getting more immersed in art and it morphed into an outlet for my digital art.  I used to work with acrylics and pastels in Australia, but here in North Cyprus I took part in a couple of on-line art workshops which lead to the discovery of on-line photo editing suites, surrealistic images, abstract art and I was off and running with my digital art.

Thank you very much to all who have followed me, who have patiently stuck with me as I’ve had ups and downs with physical health challenges and been absent on various occasions, and thanks to all who have “liked” my posts or who have taken the time to comment.

You make my day!

  1. Congratulations Mo 😀

I’m sorry, but when I click to visit your blog after you have visited me, I still see and get directed to a Chinese site. There are your photo, then thecrazycrone.com and not your .org, which direct us to another place. I just thought, that you should know.

    • Thanks, Irene. I have no idea how to change this as I’ve gone through my blogs and put everything into “thecrazycrone.org”. I think I’ll have to contact WordPress for help. Other people are getting through to my blog okay.

      • I get through too Mo, but only because I change the .com to .org. Every time I forget this, I go to the Chinese site. Maybe WordPress can help you, I hope so. It would be sad to lose followers in this way.
