Confidence

I started this digital art intending to include it in my post on blog-hopping. Then I decided to use the graphic of the frog instead and a pic of an earlier vision board I created back in Australia.

So this digital art morphed into something quite different – a quite dark blue background with a bright yellow-orange gazania, photographed in our garden here in North Cyprus, superimposed, plus some stars to reflect the fact that we sparkle when we are feeling confident.

In chakra terms, the warm orange reflects our passion, emotions and our creative juices, while the bright yellow represents our solar chakra which is our self-esteem, confidence and personal authority.

And to accompany this is John Farnham’s inspirational “You’re the Voice”. He’s an Australian singer, for those of you who may not be familiar with his name, and this song became a very big hit for him. He recorded it in one take. Underneath are the lyrics.

Confidence

“You’re The Voice”

We have the chance to turn the pages over
We can write what we want to write
We gotta make ends meet, before we get much older

We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo

This time, we know we all can stand together
With the power to be powerful
Believing we can make it better

Ooooh
We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo

Ooooh
We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo
We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo [4x]
