International Women’s Day – A Rose for Women Past, Present and Future

As it’s International Women’s Day, I decided to create some digital art to honour a day which recognises women’s achievements, their struggles, successes and inevitable progress to full equality and recognition within all societies on the global planet of ours. I had something completely different in mind but, when I was digitally altering an image of a rose (which was truly puke-invoking violent putrid green), I created this image which seemed to fit the bill.

  1. I love this. Some of my favorite colors. Do you take requests? Because if you do, March is MS Awareness month, and our official color is the orange ribbon. I would love to post one of your pictures of an orange ribbon on my blog for the rest of the month.

    1. Glad you liked the art, kyangel17. And yes, feel free to post any of my art, I’m very honoured. I’m not certain what you mean though – do you want to add an orange ribbon yourself to one of my pictures, or do you want me to create a picture with an orange ribbon on it? Let me know! 😀
